What you can expect
Every two weeks, Chip’s Writing Lessons will provide the same jolt of inspiration with its “Four Questions with…” interviews with leading writers, and editors Craft Lessons, Writing to Savor, Writers Speak, and Tip of the Week on Substack as it did on tinyletter. Subscribers will continue to get all the content they’re accustomed to, delivered free of charge. Those interested in supporting my work and gaining access to extras, including interviews, tips, recommended reading and podcasts, comments, etc., can switch to a paid plan.
Whatever plan you choose, I hope you'll remain connected to Chip's Writing Lessons and agree to remain a subscriber when the request arrives in your inbox. You can also subscribe at chipscanlan.substack.com/subscribe. If you know anyone who you think would benefit from reading my newsletter, I'd appreciate it if you'd share the link.
Founding members will receive a signed copy of my new book, “Writers on Writing: Inside the lives of 55 distinguished writers and editors.”
The upcoming newsletter features an interview with award-winning Irish fiction writer Madeleine D’Arcy, a “Knocking on Doors” Craft Lesson, Writing to Savor, Ernest Lehman on what writing is all about, and a kickass writing tip. I upload Friday, Jan. 21. Paid subscribers will receive an additional email the following Thursday of each cycle.
